Mary T. (Burke) Connors, 76, a longtime resident of Brockton, died at Tufts Medical Center in Boston on Monday, September 27, 2017, three days before her 77th birthday. She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Connors. Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and educated at St. Peter's School and St. Mark's School before graduating from Cardinal Cushing High School. Mary was a resident of Brockton since 1973. She worked a telephone operator for AT&T and New England Telephone in Boston and Brockton for 28 years before retiring in 1996. She was a member of the IBEW Local 2222. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, traveling shopping, traveling to Foxwoods and listening to Irish Music.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Marie James of N. Eastham, Kathleen Connors and Maureen Green and her husband David all of Brockton. She was the beloved grandmother of Ian James, Leo Green and Nicholas Green and was the sister of Monica MacDonald and her husband Stephen of Eastham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
