Mary G. Ciulla

Mary G. (Ruggiero) Ciulla, 88, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife for over 60 years of the late John J. Ciulla, Sr.. Born and educated in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Josephine (Antonelli) Ruggiero. She worked as a seamstress for Twin Kee in Stoughton for over 20 years and retired many years ago. She was a Member of Daughters of Italy. In her free time, she enjoyed wintering in Clearwater, FL and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was the mother of James J. and his wife Crystal of Raynham and John J. Jr. and his wife Sandra of Scituate. She was the grandmother of Alicia, Saundra, James J. Ciulla Jr. and his wife Caroline, Jeffrey Ciulla and his wife Kate, Carolyn and the late John and the great grandmother of Grace, Stara and Gemma. Mary was the sister of Frances Vose of Easton, Anna Johnston of Easton, Jean Ruggiero of Canton and Walter Ruggiero of Revere and the late Nicholas, Joseph and James Ruggiero. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, April 16 at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, 560 Page St., Stoughton at 10AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
