Mary C. Cabral

Mary C. (Jardin) Cabral, 87, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. Daughter of the late Manuel and Vicencia (Correia) Jardin, she was born in Stoughton and attended Stoughton Schools. Mrs. Cabral worked as a stitcher and weaver for several area businesses including Stoughton Elastic Web, Shawmut Mills and the Kendall Co. She retired many ago. She was a communicant and former volunteer at the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four children: Francis J. Cabral and his wife Arlene of Randolph, Kathleen Ross of Gloucester, Joseph R. Cabral, Jr. and his wife Laura of Sandwich and Cynthia Spagna and her husband Joseph of Raynham. She was the sister of Albert Jardin, Edward Jardin, and Jilda Giles all of Stoughton, Sr. Theresa Jardin of Brighton and the late Manuel Jardin. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, June 2 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday, June 1, from 5-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way Randolph, MA 02168.
