Mary Ann (Kmiotek) Mullins, 76, a longtime resident of Quincy, died peacefully at Harbor House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hingham on Monday, April 8, 2024. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Mullins. Daughter of the late Stanley F. and Frances (Jacewicz) Kmiotek, she was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. Mary Ann graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School, Class of 1965, and Boston Trade School for Nursing. She resided in Quincy for the past 27 years. She was a licensed practical nurse for the VNA in Boston for 35 years. She was recognized by the VNA for her outstanding care, receiving the annual silver, engraved Paul Revere Bowl award. She was a member at The Sheraton Atlantis Pool Club in Braintree, where she enjoyed spending time with her friends. She was an avid crafter who enjoyed jewelry, knitting, embroidering, ceramics, macramé and floral arranging.  

Mary Ann is survived by her sisters, Frances Piasecki and her husband Francis and Patricia McBride and her husband Paul all of Stoughton, as well as her dearest childhood friend Rosemary Jaromin of Hingham. Mary Ann was loved by and enjoyed a very special relationship with her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Everywhere she traveled in life, she was the light of her community.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Ann‘s memory may be made to Dr. David A. Morrow, Heart and Vascular Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, 70 Francis St., Boston, MA 02115.
