Mary Virginia (Collett) Alholm, 66, a resident of Dorchester, died peacefully at Carney Hospital in Dorchester on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Andrew Alholm. Daughter of the late Albert F. and Barbara E. (Blum) Collett, she was born in Boston and raised in Stoughton. Mary was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1969 and Massasoit Community College in Brockton. She resided in Easton for many years before moving to Dorchester 8 years ago. She lived at The Boston Home for the past 4 years. Along with her husband, Mary owned Jenistar in Easton, which was a computer printer repair company, for 15 years before retiring 15 years ago. She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Stoughton.
Mary is survived by her children, Wayne F. Alholm of Whitman and Jennifer C. Alholm of Easton. She was the sister of the late Albert F. Collett, Jr. She was the cousin of Paul McIntyre, Vincent McIntyre, Nancy Toomey and Deborah Martin and is also survived by many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
