Mary J. (Shumak) Albuit

Mary J. (Shumak) Albuit, 81, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Norwood, after a period of failing health. Born in South Boston, she was raised and educated in South Boston and was a graduate of South Boston High Schools. Mrs. Albuit was a resident of Sharon from 1960-1989 and moved to Foxboro where she lived for over 22 years. She was a homemaker. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sharon. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Joseph E. Albuit of Solon, ME. Stephen D. Albuit of Wrentham, Susan E. Graham of Easton, Michael Albuit of Foxboro, Thomas E. Albuit of Fitchburg, Paul R. Albuit of Middleboro, Jeffrey W. Albuit of Foxboro, and the Late John Jeffrey Albuit. Also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren. She was the former wife of the late Joseph E. Albuit.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, July 13th at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Cottage St. SHARON at 10:00am. Visiting Hours Thursday July 12th from 5-8 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
