Martha C. (Harvey) Crosby

Martha C. (Harvey) Crosby, 97, died peacefully at her residence at All American Assisted Living in Raynham on Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was the wife of the late Benjamin F. Crosby. Daughter of the late William J. and Katherine (Shine) Harvey, she was born in Boston and raised and educated in Dorchester. Martha was a resident of Stoughton for 25 years before residing in Mashpee for 18 years and Middleboro for 17 years. She was a homemaker at home with her family and also was a teacher's aide at Stoughton High School for 8 years before retiring in 1984. She enjoyed crocheting afghans that she would donate to nursing homes, as well as knitting, sewing and cooking.

Mrs. Crosby is survived by her children, Susan M. Puliafico of Brockton, Benjamin F. Crosby, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Whitman and Alan M. Crosby and his wife Virginia of Sudbury. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tina, Jason, Katie, Sara, Amy, Michael and Patrick and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Monday, January 22 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in Martha's memory may be made to Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N. Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02472.
