Mark S. Hampe, 58, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, November 4, 2018, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the longtime partner and best friend of Elaine M. (Mulhern) Culver of Stoughton. Born and raised in Stoughton he was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Technical High School in Easton, Class of 1978, where he was the Captain of the football team as a Senior. Mark was a longtime employee of STD Precision Gear in West Bridgewater. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed rooting for the Patriots and Red Sox. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time by the ocean.
Mark is survived by his two children, Sarah E. Hampe of Stoughton and Sean P. Hampe of Quincy. He was the son of Jane (Sheehan) Hampe of Stoughton and the late Carl Hampe. Mark was the brother of Karen Colleran of N. Attleboro, Linda Hampe of Attleboro, Matthew Hampe of Stoughton, James Hampe of FL and the late Michael Hampe. He is also survived by his step daughter Megan Culver of Falmouth, his former wife Cindy Hampe of Stoughton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offer in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday Evening, November 8, 2018 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior to the service from 4-7 PM.
