Marjorie J. (Lombard) White, 90, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Friday, August 11, 2018, at her home after a period of failing health. Born in Harwich, she was raised and educated in New Bedford, she was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational Technical School. She also earned her Associates Degree in Psychology. She worked in the Administrative Office of Hit or Miss in Canton for many years and retired at age 65. Prior to working at Hit or Miss, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Foxboro State Hospital for several years and in private practice. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, swimming, doing word search puzzles, tending to her flower garden and spending time with her family.
Mrs. White is survived by her children: Maurice F. White and his wife Sumiko of KY, Renee' L. Wilson and her husband Emanuel of TX, Randy H White and his wife the late Geraldine, Nunita M. Bowen and her husband Alex of NM and Dane J. White and his wife Ernestora of CT. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the prayers from 9:30-10:30 AM. Interment will be held in the Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
