Marjorie M. (Tsesmedzis) Margarite, 89, a longtime resident of Easton, died peacefully at Southeast Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Easton. She was the wife of the late Antonio D. Margarite. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Brighton. She was a resident of Easton for the past 27 years after living in Stoughton for 32 years. Mrs. Margarite was a bank teller and customer service representative at Stoughton Cooperative Bank for over 20 years before retiring many years ago. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Ladies Philoptoches. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, reading, traveling and church activities.
Mrs. Margarite is survived by her children, Virginia Popovich of Parma, OH and Stephen T. Margarite and his wife Deborah of Easton, as well as her grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas and Alexander. She was the sister of the late Sophie Choharis and Ann Alexander.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, April 24 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Service at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Brockton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
