Marjorie "Elaine" (Larkin) Daly

Marjorie "Elaine" (Larkin) Daly, 83, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Blue Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton after a long illness. She was the wife of 45 years of Thomas Daly. Born and raised in Roxbury, she was a graduate of Boston Schools. Known as "Nana Daly", she was a resident of Brockton since 1971, previously living in Stoughton for many years. She was a longtime cook at the Stoughton Social Club and was a member of the Sons of Italy in Stoughton for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Foxwoods.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Daly is survived by her children; Debra Banninster of NH, Karen English of CT and Pamela Daly of Stoughton and was predeceased by her son George Rose. She was the stepmother of Thomas Daly of AZ and Wendy Gary of TX. Elaine was the sister of Joan Haggerty of Easton, Linda Breen of Stoughton, Robert Larkin of FL and the late Carol Croke and William Larkin. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The Daly family would like to thank the entire staff at the Blue Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center for their outstanding care and compassion provided to Elaine.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-5 PM. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
