Marjorie (Machin) Berger, 77, died at home in Stoughton on Thursday, April 20 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Paul J. Berger. Born and educated in England, Mrs. Berger had resided in Stoughton for 13 years. She was a school teacher in England and South Africa for over 30 years before retiring in 1983.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Berger is survived by her sons, Nigel C. Machin of Sharon and Andrew P. Machin of Brazil as well as her grandchildren, Danilo, Haley, Carey, Christopher, Daniel, Jonathan, Dana and Lora.
Memorial Service will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday, April 23 at 2 PM. Visitation prior from 1-2 PM. Those who wish may visit with the family following the service at her residence until 9 PM and Monday 1-5 PM & 7-9 PM.
