Marion V. (Dooley) Pearse, 81, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at her home after a period of failing health. She was the daughter of the late Philip J. Dooley and Marion (Nally) Dooley. She was raised in Stoughton and educated in Stoughton Schools. Marion was a longtime employee of Armstrong Industries in Braintree. She retired several years ago. She loved cats, dogs, flowers, planting vegetables and talking about them with her son in law David.
Marion is survived by her daughter Patricia "Pattie" Rollins-Wayne and her husband David. She was the grandmother of Philip Rollins and his fiancé Lauren Daniels; the great grandmother of Declan Rollins and also leaves her former son in law Gregory Rollins, all of Wareham. Marion was predeceased by her former husbands; Calvin "Bud" Morey and John Pearse and her brother Francis X. Dooley. She was also predeceased by her brother Philip J. Dooley and his wife Patricia, who lovingly adopted and raised her and Calvin's daughter Pattie. She was the aunt of James "Jay" Dooley, Christopher and Richard Dooley and Lisa Gouveia and the sister in law of Rose W. Dooley. She also leaves her special and dedicated friends Sandra Lemieux, Lorraine Gardiner and Nancy Bowman who cared for Marion with love and dignity over the past few months.
