Marilyn D. (Hibler) Donahue, 64, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Brockton Hospital on Thursday, July 23, 2020. She was the wife of John F. Donahue, Jr. for 44 years. Daughter of the late John and Beverly (Foote) Hibler, she was born in Oakland, CA and raised in Pembroke. Marilyn was a graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School, Class of 1974. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1976 and a longtime winter resident of Kissimmee, FL. She was a manager of the call center for Bank of America, working in Cumberland, RI, Framingham and Needham. She enjoyed working in her yard, creating beautiful crafts, dining out and traveling the world with her husband but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Marilyn was the mother of the late Alicia M. Donahue. She was the sister of Alfred Hibler and his wife Cindy of Duxbury and Vermont, John P. Hibler, DO and his wife Kathy of Ohio and the late Michael Hibler. She was the sister-in-law of Patti Doherty and her husband Artie of Marstons Mills and James Donahue and his wife Margaret of Halifax. She treasured all of her nieces and nephews and loved her role as Auntie Mel.
