Marie L. (Savage) Hilsinger, 74, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Monday, October 10, 2016. She was the wife of the late Clark Hilsinger. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Marie was a clerk at Page's Variety Store in Stoughton for over 20 years before retiring 7 years ago. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Stoughton Senior Center and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Mrs. Hilsinger is survived by her children, Lori M. Kapala and her husband Raymond of Dracut and Clark A. Hilsinger and his longtime companion Gail Frates of North Dartmouth, as well as her grandsons, Thomas and Sean and her great-granddaughter, Hannah. She was the sister of Lawrence Savage of Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, October 14 from 10-11:30 AM followed by a graveside service at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High St., Canton at 12 PM.
