Marie J. (Campbell) Herendeen, 90, a longtime resident of North Falmouth, died at Falmouth Hospital on Monday, April 8. She was the wife of the late Karl S. Herendeen. Born in Boston, she was raised in Newton and graduated from Newton North High School. She was a resident of North Falmouth for 35 years. Mrs. Herendeen was a homemaker. She was a member of the Women's Guild at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in North Falmouth for many years.
Mrs. Herendeen is survived by her children, Robert Herendeen and his wife Anne of Salinas, CA, Anne Goode and her husband John of Canton, Mark Herendeen and his wife Susan of Franklin and Gary Herendeen and his wife Tami of Lodi, CA. She was the sister of Joan Cannon of Franklin, Elizabeth Malloy of Atlanta, GA and the late Joseph Campbell, Paul Campbell and Sister Anne Therese, SSJ. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, 700 Washington St., Canton on Friday, April 12 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1 PM.
