Marie E. (Jardin) Gawrys

Marie E. (Jardin) Gawrys, 67, passed the 4th day of September, 2018, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. A longtime resident, she was also born and raised in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1969. Marie will always be remembered as a very warm, loving, and dedicated mother who's strength was rooted in her heart. Marie enjoyed the beauty of life and all its expressions through music, dance, the arts, nature, animals, and especially her family and her kitties. Mrs. Gawrys loved life and enjoyed collecting knick knacks that reminded her of what she held closest to her heart and what she loved the most - her family.

Marie is survived by her three sons, J Daniel Gawrys of San Diego, CA, Shawn A. Gawrys of Stoughton and James M. Gawrys and his wife Kerrie of RI. She was the sister of Dolores Leonardo and David Jardin both of Stoughton, Theresa Mahan of Dartmouth and Alisa Cloutier of Bridgewater. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Thomas, Adam, Kayleigh and Paige Gawrys.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, September 7 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday, September 6, from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
