Marie G. (Monteiro) Crowley

Marie G. (Monteiro) Crowley, 82, a resident of Canton, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Fernandes) Monteiro, she was born and raised in Falmouth. She was a graduate of Falmouth High School. Marie resided in Hanover for over 20 years before moving to Canton 15 years ago. She was the bookkeeper for Paul Crowley Construction for 23 years. She enjoyed gardening and shopping but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. 

Marie is survived by her son, George S. Perry Jr. of Canton and his granddaughter, Yolanda Perry. She is the sister of Margaret Gomes of New Bedford, Evelyn Monteiro of Milton, Laura Lewis of Norton and the late Barbara Lopes, Minnie Gomes and Frank Monteiro Jr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her former husbands, George S. Perry and Paul J. Crowley. 

Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 2 from 10:30 AM – 12 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 12 PM. Interment will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie‘s memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 182 North Main St., Fall River, MA 02720.
