Marie T. Antoine

Marie T. (Jean Philippe) Antoine, 87, died at the Goddard Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Stoughton on Friday, August 10 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Andre Antoine. Born and educated in Haiti, Mrs. Antoine lived in New York for 30 years before moving to Stoughton 6 years ago. She was a school teacher in Haiti for 10 years before moving to the U.S., where she was a housewife. She was a member of the Christian Assembly of Hyde Park.

Mrs. Antoine is survived by her children, Dr. Jean B. Antoine of NY, Guy Antoine of Haiti, Jacques, Michel and Beatrice Antoine all of Hyde Park, Gerda Diver and Rev. Herns Antoine both of Stoughton. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held from Faith Baptist Church, Corner of Pearl and Stoughton St., Stoughton on Saturday, August 18 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday 6-9 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton.
