Maria Natal (Meneses) Meneses

Maria Natal (Meneses) Meneses, 73, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, while vacationing on the island of Terceira in the Azores, the island of her birth.  Maria was born, raised and educated in Terceira and it was there that she married Jose L. Meneses in 1971.  Maria and Jose moved to the US and settled in Stoughton.  She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was devoted to her family.  Maria enjoyed cooking and specialized in preparing more desserts than necessary.  She also enjoyed crocheting.  In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.  

In addition to her husband Jose, she is survived by her three children: Sandy Meneses and Jason Meneses, both of Stoughton and Jeremy Meneses of Norwood.  She was the grandmother of Dominic, Dante, and Anthony Marotta.  She was the sister of Celina Denis of France, Mario Meneses of RI and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
