Maria F. DeAguiar

Maria F. (Fernandes) DeAguiar, 93, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Copley at Stoughton on Monday, August 2. She was the wife of the late Joao DeAguiar. Born and raised in Madeira, Portugal, she was a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years. Mrs. DeAguiar was a packer at Corcoran Shoe and Quality Steel both in Stoughton for over 15 years before retiring at age 65.
Mrs. DeAguiar is survived by her daughters, Maria Pombo and Ivonne Hermangildo both of Stoughton, Maria Nunes of Attleboro and Maria Rose Monteiro of Fairhaven. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, August 5 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
