Marguerite J. Reen

Marguerite J. "Peggy" (Hanabury) Reen, 84, a longtime resident of North Easton, died Tuesday, April 20 at the Signature Brockton Hospital. Daughter of the late James and Mary (Sullivan) Hanabury, she was born in Boston and educated in Jamaica Plain schools. She was a graduate of Katherine Dell in Boston. Mrs. Reen was a resident of North Easton since 1978 after living in West Roxbury for many years. She was a human resource secretary at Tileston/Hollingsworth Company in Hyde Park for 30 years before retiring 24 years ago. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and spending time in Florida.
Mrs. Reen was the mother of Carol Harrington and her husband Gene of N. Easton, John J. "Jack" Reen and his wife Diane Conti of Dennis and the late Kevin J. Reen. She was the mother-in-law of Linda Reen of Canton. She was the grandmother of Kerrie, Ryan, Michelle, Courtney, Kevin, Jeffrey and Taylor and the extended grandmother of Scott, Nicole, Lauren, Drew and Jessica. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, April 26 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Easton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 PM. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
