Marguerite M. Christie Milbery

Marguerite M. Christie Milbery, 93, a longtime resident of Sharon, died Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Wedgemere Nursing Home in Taunton. She was the wife of the late Raymond Christie and Frederick Milbery. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Sharon and a graduate of Sharon Schools. Mrs. Milbery was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Sharon VFW. In her free time, she enjoyed taking long walks, caring for animals and spending time with her family.
She was the mother of Ronald Christie of North Attleboro, Norman Christie of Milford, MaryEllen Hunt of Easton and the late Raymond Christie and Barbara L. Melamed. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, April 9 from 9-11AM. Burial will be private.
