Margaret G. Young

Margaret G. (Deady) Young, 97, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Friday, July 26, 2019. She was the wife of the late Stanley O. Young. Daughter of the late John F. and Jennie (Pollicut) Deady, she was born in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1939. Margaret was a homemaker. She was a member of the Stoughton Women's Club and a longtime communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton.

Margaret is survived by her children, Roger W. Young and his wife Donna of Charlestown and Janet M. Young of Stoughton, as well as her granddaughter, Christine Young. She was the sister of John "Eddie" Deady of Boston and the late Henry and William Deady, Elizabeth MacLennan and Mary Pellowe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton on Friday, August 1, 2019 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
