Margaret Eleanor (Bronsdon) Sera, 78, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at her home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of 56 years of Harry Sera. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Mattapan and Hyde Park and was a graduate of Boston Schools. She was a resident of Raynham for 8 years, previously living in Holbrook for 18 years and Randolph for 15 years. Mrs. Sera worked as a Nurse's Aide for over 40 years at the Hollywell Nursing Home in Randolph. She retired at age 65. In her free time, she enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, traveling and cake decorating.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Stephen H. Sera and his wife Debra of Stoughton, David A. Sera and his wife Linda of Weymouth and Richard M. Sera and his wife Nancy of Taunton. She was the sister of Milt Bronsdon of WA, Gilmore Bronsdon of Quincy and the late Irene Baldwin and Lincoln P. Bronsdon Jr. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 5?8 PM. Donations in Margaret's Memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
