Margaret J. Lund

Margaret J. Lund, a resident of Brockton age 62, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025. Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Jean O. (Davey) Lund and Charles Lund, attending Stoughton High School as a part of the Class of 1980, but did not graduate, as she left school for a job opportunity. She worked as a head cook at Blue Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton for many years, devoting herself to the job and showcasing her love to those she worked with every day. She enjoyed cooking, taking trips to Cape Cod, watching her soap operas, listening to music, dancing, a good cup of coffee and was an avid animal lover, especially to cats. She will be greatly missed. 

Margaret leaves behind her longtime friend and companion James Patrick of Sharon and was a part of Jimmy’s family as well. 

Family services were held privately. Jimmy hopes to have a memorial bench with her name on it in his yard, so as the kids go by daily on their way to and from school, they can take a moment there to rest if needed.
