Margaret J. (Manley) Kendall, 87, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at the Stanley R. Tippett Hospice Home in Needham on Friday, October 11, 2019. She was the wife of the late Raymond V. Kendall. Daughter of the late James and Florence (Davies) Manley, she was born and raised in Bristol, England. Margaret resided in Stoughton for the past 50 years. She was a secretary with Stoughton Public Schools for over 25 years before retiring 15 years ago. She enjoyed knitting, traveling and spending time with her family.
Margaret was the devoted mother of Virginia M. Creese and her husband Guy of Andover, Jeffrey J. Kendall and his wife Kathleen and Matthew V. Kendall all of Stoughton and Dean E. Kendall and his wife Laura of Dracut. She was the loving grandmother of Ashley Sanders and her husband David, Samantha Cabino and her husband Robert, Sarah Creese and Jacklyn Kendall and the great-grandmother of Sutton Cabino, Kendall Sanders and Colton Cabino. She was predeceased by 5 brothers and sisters and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, October 17 11:00 AM. Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Margaret's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
