Margaret "Marggie" (St. George) Geanakakis, 60, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home in Stoughton on Sunday, February 7, 2021. She was the wife of David C. Geanakakis for 28 years. Daughter of the late Barry F. and Laurette (Stephenson) St. George, she was born in Boston and raised in Cambridge and Stoughton. She graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1978 and Stonehill College, Class of 1982. Marggie was a database administrator for the Old Colony Library Network in Braintree since 1999. She quietly supported many charities, enjoyed walking and listening to music with her husband. She loved traveling to Santorini, Greece and Sand Key, FL and enjoyed reading, especially mystery novels. She was a longtime "Parrothead" enjoying many Jimmy Buffett concerts. Her smile brightened up any room or gathering.
In addition to her husband, Marggie was the sister of Laurette Hill of Twentyninepalms, CA and her late husband Darrell and Barry F. St. George, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Falmouth. She was the aunt of Darrell and Brian Hill, Arthur and Angelo Paleologos, and godmother of Laura Maloney and Angelo.
