Margaret H. Fitch

Margaret H. (McGilloway) Fitch, 89, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late James A. Fitch. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Practical Arts High School in Boston. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years. Mrs. Fitch was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting and square dancing.
She is survived by her sister Sally A. LaRusso of Wolfeboro, NH and her brother James P. McGilloway of Beverly. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, John, James, Hugh, Edward and Daniel McGilloway, Rita Kelley, Ann Higgins and Mary McCarey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, April 22 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior to the prayers from 10-11 AM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N. Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02172.
