Margaret T. “Peggy” (Beatty) Falvey, 87, died Saturday, November 19, 2022 at her home in Stoughton surrounded by her family, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Daniel R. Falvey, Jr. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Billerica. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 58 years. Mrs. Falvey was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted Catholic and watched the Catholic TV Network daily. She was a fan of the Patriots and Red Sox and enjoyed collecting bells, traveling to Maine and the occasional trip to the casino to play the slots. Peggy was proud of her Irish Heritage and loved being the matriarch of her family. Above all, she enjoyed being surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Peggy is survived by her children, Daniel R. Falvey, III and Joseph P. Falvey and his wife Angela, all of Halifax and Marie Falvey of Stoughton. She was the beloved Grandma of Emily, Sean and Brittany Falvey and Theodore Collins. Peggy was the sister of the late Austin, John “Jack” Beatty, Mary Chapman, Michael, James, Ann, Joseph and Francis Beatty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 from the Funeral Home at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM.
