Maree W. (Dikmak) O'Brien

Maree W. (Dikmak) O'Brien, 75, died Tuesday, July 11, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Robert F. O'Brien. Born in Roxbury, she was raised and educated in Hyde Park. She was a graduate of Boston Schools and also attended Boston Business School. Mrs. O'Brien was a resident of Canton for the past 10 years and previously lived in Dorchester for many years. She worked as a secretary for several area offices and also was a dedicated homemaker. She also worked at Stop & Shop for many years, retiring several years ago. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling to Foxwoods, playing Bingo and reading.

She is survived by her children; Robyn Fischer of CA, Kelley Fitzpatrick of Plymouth and Charles O'Brien of Pembroke. She was the sister of Russell Dikmak of Hyde Park, Elizabeth Tamer of Canton and Carol Murphy of Cambridge. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kristen Bautista, Micheal Fitzpatrick, Amber Fitzpatrick, Riley O'Brien and Rebecca O'Brien.
