Maebelle L. Briscoe

Maebelle L. Briscoe, 93, a longtime resident of Avon, died peacefully at home on Thursday, December 18, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Walter and Harriett (Linnell) Briscoe, she was born and raised in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School. She was a resident of Avon for over 70 years. Maebelle was a stitcher at Boston Brace in Avon for over 25 years before retiring at age 87. She enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling and trips to Twin River Casino with her daughter.

Maebelle is survived by her daughter, Robin F. Perry of Avon, as well as her grandchildren, Briana, Shawnay and Whitney Perry. She was the sister of Loretta Pinnetti of Easton and the late Walter, Roger, Alton, Kenneth and Gail Briscoe, Elizabeth Theriault, Beverly Robinson, Ruth Corrigan, Pauline Moody, Harriett Smith and Eileen Stevens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, December 21 at 6:30 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 4-6:30 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maebelle's memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
