Madge B. Lloyd

Madge B. (Farah) Lloyd, 97, a longtime resident of Sharon, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Epoch of Sharon Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Lloyd, Sr. Born in Cat Island, Bahamas, she was raised and educated in Miami, Fl. Mrs. Lloyd moved to Roxbury in 1948 and then settled with her family in Sharon in l965. She was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Weldon S. Lloyd of Sharon, Joyce J. Lloyd of Randolph, Thomas P. Lloyd, Jr. of Stoughton, Sandra S. Alkins of Sharon, and Vaughn I. Lloyd of Halifax, six grandchildren, Charles Alkins III, Michael Alkins, Nicole Dentino, Sheldon and Glynn Lloyd, John Lloyd, six great- grandchildren, Sandra and John Dentino, Angelina Alkins, Grace Lloyd, Mila and Cory Lloyd. She was predeceased by her father, Julius Farah, mother, Olivia Larrimore, one brother, one sister, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA., 02472.
