Madeline R. "Mim" (Fralick) Smith, 90, died December 31, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton surrounded by her family and after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late William E. Smith, Sr. Born in Canton, she was raised and educated in Canton and attended Canton Schools. Mrs. Smith was a resident of Stoughton for over 70 years. She worked as a stitcher for Lurie Sportswear in Stoughton for many years and retired in 1980. She was a member of the Stoughton Golden Agers, the Pokeno Club in Stoughton, the International Garment Workers Union and AARP. In her free time, she enjoyed crafts, bowling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Sandra A. Moneypenny of OH, William E. Smith, Jr. of Sudbury, Beverly Nessralla of Brockton and Susan Spintig and Madeline Rodrigues both of Stoughton. She was the sister of John Fralick of Canton and the late Marjorie Bowmar, Louise Daly, Edith Pasquarosa, Evelyn Santos, Roland, Robert, Warren and Frederick Fralick. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, January 4 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
