Madeleine A. (Gozdon) Alexson

Madeleine A. (Gozdon) Alexson, 67, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, September 27, 2013. Born and educated in Lynn, she was a graduate of Lynn Classical and earned her Bachelors degree from Northeastern University. Mrs. Alexson was a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years. She worked as a floral designer for Bowers Flowers for many years, retiring 4 years ago. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, painting, writing poetry, reading and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa Bulman and her husband Tim of Bridgewater and her son Bill Alexson and his wife Dawn of Stoughton. She was predeceased by her daughter, Angela Dowgos. She was the sister of the late Judith Lecesse and the devoted grandmother of Emma and Grace Bulman, Gavin and Kirsten Alexson and Christofer Dowgos. She also leaves her great granddaughter Clementine Dowgos.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, October 4 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Dr., Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
