Madana Norgaisse Louis

Madana Norgaisse Louis, 66, passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Gonaives, Haiti. Later in her late teenage years she attended school in Port-au-Prince. While in school she was a supervisor of a phone company in Haiti. She earned her degree as a teacher before moving to the United States in 1973. She had big dreams to make it in America and that she did. She focused on nursing to help support her family for years before she finally conquered her dream to do Real Estate. She enjoyed fixing and buying homes, that was her dream. She loved family, especially her children and grandchildren. She solely devoted herself to family before anything. She was a hard working woman and an inspiration to many. She truly was one of a kind and known as "mommy" to everyone she met.

Madana was the mother of Jarry Dessalines, Dorothy Dessalines, Frantz Dessalines, Jr. and Ricardo Dessalines all of Stoughton and the late Israel Dessalines. She was the daughter of Ann-Marie Louis and Montas Norgaisse. She was the sister of Jean Milien, Montes Norgaisse and Mary Lourdes Norgaisse, Hector Pierre Norgaisse, Michline Milford, Gladys Philogene, Michelle Norgaisse, Kate Norgaisse and Montas "Billy" Norgaisse. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
