Lynne A. Nestor

Lynne A. Nestor, 60, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at PAM Specialty Hospital in Stoughton on Sunday, March 31, 2024.  She was the daughter of Marjorie E. (Johnson) Nestor of Stoughton and the late George A. Nestor.  She was born and raised in Quincy and graduated from North Quincy High School, Class of 1981.  She was a resident of Stoughton for over 20 years.  Lynne was a financial analyst for several companies in the area, including Mass. Mutual and Empower, before retiring in 2022.  She was an avid animal lover.  She enjoyed trucks and was very knowledgeable about trucks and cars.

In addition to her mother, Lynne is survived by her aunt, Marilyn Nestor of Quincy.  She is also survived by her beloved dogs, Jack and Holly as well as many cousins.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, April 6 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM.  Visiting Hours Friday from 4-7 PM.  Burial will take place at The Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynne’s memory may be made to Massachusetts Rat Terrier Rescue, Rat Terrier Rescue Donation Processing, 3001 Salem Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677 (https://ratterrier.rescueme.org/massachusetts).
