Lydia (Romansky) Prodouz, 94, died Friday, January 19, 2018, at the Braemoor Nursing Home in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Alexander Prodouz. Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a 1941 graduate of Stoughton High School. She was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Prodouz was a homemaker who also worked for several area companies including Shawmut Mills in Stoughton. She also sold cosmetics for Avon. She enjoyed playing piano and in her free time, enjoyed dining out with friends.
Mrs. Prodouz was the mother of Alan Prodouz of Stoughton and the late Stephen Prodouz. She was the grandmother of Justin Prodouz and the sister of the late Katherine Weremey, Helen Swiriduk, John Romanuck, Mary Sampson and Anne Romansky. Lydia was the beloved aunt of Patricia Perry and is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Directions and obituary at www.farleyfh.com.
