Louise D. (Dervinis) Tripp, 83, died unexpectedly at home in Stoughton on Saturday, September 30. She was the wife of the late Roger Tripp. A lifelong resident of Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1941. She was a student basketball coach in high school. Mrs. Tripp was a homemaker at home with her family. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing Bingo, going to Foxwoods, watching sports on TV, gardening and walking.
Mrs. Tripp is survived by her children, Maureen Hunt of W. Bridgewater, Roberta Pearl of Carver, Jane Grover of Marshfield, Carol Ehrhardt of Holbrook, Roger Tripp and Christopher Tripp both of Stoughton and her sister, Albena Tripp of Stoughton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Prayers will be offered at Nemasket Hill Cemetery, Plymouth St., Middleboro on Thursday, October 5 at 11:15 AM. Visiting Hours from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday 5-8 PM.
