Louise W. (Fiske) Taylor, 93, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at the Braemoor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, March 27. She was the wife of the late William M. Taylor. Born in Holliston, she was raised and educated in Boston Schools. She was a resident of Stoughton for 67 years. Mrs. Taylor was a garment worker at the Lurie Sportswear Co. in Stoughton for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Garment Worker's Union. She was also very active at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Stoughton. In her retirement she enjoyed ceramics, bingo, crochet, sports and being a Red Sox fan.
She is survived by her children, William R. Taylor of Stoughton, Ann T. Thompson of Plympton, and Glenn F. Taylor of NH. She was the grandmother of Christopher W. Taylor, Kevin R. Taylor, Dean F. Raymond, Brent W. Raymond and Jessica K. Raymond. She was predeceased by her siblings Joyce M. Raymond, Robert W. Fiske and Betty G. Shifflett. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 414 Sumner St, Stoughton on Monday, March 31 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday from 2-5 PM.
