Louis A. Modestino, Jr., 51, a longtime resident of Sharon, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 3, 2017. Son of Louis A. and Elaine F. (Palayma) Modestino of Sharon, he was born in Norwood and raised in Stoughton. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1985 and Massasoit Community College, Class of 1988. Louis was a self-employed title examiner. He also served on many boards in Stoughton and Sharon. He enjoyed line dancing and fishing. He was writing a book, "Pie in the Face" which was about slapstick comedy.
In addition to his parents, Louis is survived by his brother, Dr. Edward J. Modestino, Professor of Psychology, Curry College and his wife Danielle J. Kradin.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louis' memory may be made to the National Autism Assn., 1 Park Ave., Suite 1, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
