Louis G. DiRusso, 83, of Stoughton, passed away Saturday August 25 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He is survived by his beloved wife and soul mate Constance "Connie" (Neas) DiRusso and his children, Rose Reilly and her husband William of South Easton, Donna Gustafson and her husband Frank of Falmouth, Linda Gilmartin and her husband Richard of Gulf Breeze, FL, Barbara Perkins and her husband William of Bridgewater and Anthony DiRusso of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews, relatives and loyal friends.
Mr. DiRusso was the son of the late Gaetano and Emelia (Valente) DiRusso. He was born and educated in Brooklyn, NY. He is predeceased by his brothers Anthony, Salvatore and Francis. Louis was a member of the American Legion Post 89, VFW Post 1645 of Stoughton and the USS Rochester Association of which he was one of the founders. He served in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. DiRusso was a self employed general contractor.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, August 29 at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
