Lorraine (Brown) Massey

Lorraine (Brown) Massey, 69, died Monday, January 23, 2017 at her home in Raynham after a period of failing health. She was the wife of 44 years of George W. "Butch" Massey. Born in Braintree, she was raised and educated in Weymouth and was a graduate of Weymouth High School, Class of 1965. Mrs. Massey was a resident of Raynham for over 24 years, previously living in Brockton for many years. She worked as a Claims Representative for Amica Insurance in Raynham for 14 years. She also worked in the same capacity for Travelers Insurance and Arbella Insurance. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Raynham. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, walking, music and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her friendly and kind spirit.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Massey is survived by her children; Kimberly Robinson of PA, Jessica Massey of Norfolk and Jason Massey of Berkley. She was predeceased by her sons; Derrick Massey and Mark Brisseden. She was the grandmother of Jocelyn, Kyle, Faith, Brandon, Haleigh, Cameron, Ashley and Peyton. She was the great grandmother of Cayden and Rylen. Lorraine was the sister of Joanne Gay of Hingham, Audrey LaRosa of Holbrook and the late Paul Bowley and Bernand Pitts and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, January 27 at 9:30 AM. Visiting Hours will be Thursday from 4-7 PM. Donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Way, Memphis. TN 38105.
