Lorraine C. (Carlson) Camuso, 65, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Monday, December 10, at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of Christopher P. Camuso. Born in Boston, she was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford Schools. Mrs. Camuso worked at CheckPoint in Canton for the past 9 years. Prior to that, she worked for BayBank and BankBoston in the Checking Department and Mortgage Department for over 20 years. She was a Civil Air Patrol Wife for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, ceramics, tending to her flower garden and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters; Lorraine "Rainy" Camuso-Sullivan and her husband Shawn Camuso-Sullivan of Stoughton and Sheri Camuso of CA. She was the sister of Ernest T. Carlson and the late Gerry Nigro. Mrs. Camuso was the grandmother of Scott Camuso-Sullivan and Connor Camuso-Sullivan and is also survived by her nephew Anthony Nigro of NH.
Funeral will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, December 14 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to the charity of your own choice. Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
