Lori Ann Mellett, 45, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth after being stricken ill in her home. Born in Boston, she was raised in Randolph and was a graduate of Blue Hills Regional Technical High School in Canton. She worked as a Personal Caretaker for many years. She previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at New Pond Village in Walpole for 10 years. An animal lover, in her free time, she enjoyed watching Lifetime movies, spending time at Castle Island in South Boston and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters; Jacqueline N. Mellett and her fiancé Matthew Jenkins of Norwood and Savannah M. Mellett of Whitman. She was the grandmother of Jacob and Olivia Jenkins. Lori was the daughter of Michael J. Mellett and his wife Karen of Dedham and the late Sandra L. (Gerstel) Mellett. She was the sister of Michael J. Mellett, Jr. and his wife Jean of East Bridgewater, Elaine M. Buzzell of Dedham, James P. Mellett of Whitman, Kelly J. Curtin and her husband John of Halifax, Deborah L. Harrison and her husband Bruce of Everett, Katie Mellett and Nora Mellett both of Dedham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday evening, May 4 at 8PM. Visiting Hours prior to the prayers from 5-8 PM.
