Lloyd J. Dixon-Colbert, 39, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He was the beloved son of Marcia Colbert of Onset and Wesley Dixon of CA. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and Wareham and was a graduate of Upper Cape Vocational Technical High School. He worked as a dog groomer. Lloyd was a lover of dogs, an avid sports fan and follower of the Patriots and Celtics and enjoyed BMX racing as a youth. He loved fresh water fishing, playing the drums, exploring astrophysics and recently took up the hobby of flying drones.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd is survived by his longtime companion of 13 years Ananda Milliken of Salem. He is also survived by his siblings; Kirby Dixon, Ivett Dixon, Paulette Dixon and Joanne Mathis all of NY and Lucrachia Alford of GA. He was the grandson of Loretta S. Colbert of Stoughton and the late Norman J. Colbert, Winston Dixon and Josephine (Brown) Dixon. He is also survived by 4 aunts, 1 uncle and many cousins.
Funeral Service will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, October 11 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in Lloyd's memory may be made to the Big Brother Big Sister, 5 Mear Rd., Holbrook, 02343.
