Lisa M. Fresina, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 22, 2018 at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, after a lengthy battle with Type 1 Diabetes. Lisa was the daughter of the late John and Lora Fresina. A lifelong resident of Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1982. Lisa was very knowledgeable in Type 1 Diabetes and lead teaching groups in some of the facilities she was connected with. She had a great love of animals especially cats, and also loved listening to music.

She will be greatly missed by her sisters and brother in law, Vittoria McDonough and her husband Timothy McDonough of Stoughton and Faith Kaplan of Florida. Lisa was the aunt of Colleen McDonough of Marshfield, Terri Fresina of Hingham, Kristy Kaplan of FL, Anthony Fresina of Stoughton, Jack Fresina of Brockton and the late David Kaplan. She is also survived by 4 great niece's and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will take place at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, June 29 from 10:30-11:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 12 Noon. Interment will be private.
