Lisa M. Amador

Lisa M. Amador, age 54, passed away on December 25, 2024 after a long, courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Born, raised, and educated in Dorchester, she was the daughter of Maria J. Amador and the late Albertino B. “Tino” Amador, and was a resident of Taunton, previously of Quincy and Stoughton. She attended Kinyon-Campbell Business School earning an Associate’s Degree in Business, and went to work as a bookkeeper at Martignetti New England Wine & Spirits Distributors for over 10 years. A devoted mother, she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, bringing her highly requested famous Chocolate Trifle to every family cookout. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, and was close with her mom, attending craft classes and having regular girls’ days. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

In addition to her mother Maria, Lisa is survived by her beloved daughters Ashley DaRosa of Taunton, Samantha DaRosa of New Bedford, Courtney Gray of Taunton, and was preceded in death by her son Joseph DaRosa. She was the dear sister to Robert Amador of Rochester, and is survived by her grandchildren Matilda DaRosa and Govani DaRosa. She leaves behind her longtime partner Michael Armour who cared for her for many loving years, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
