Linda Patchell

Linda M. (Bowman) Patchell, 63, died Tuesday, January 31, 2011, at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late William Patchell. Born and raised in Dorchester, she was a graduate of Boston Schools. Mrs. Patchell worked as an Administrative Assistant for several area offices. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristin M. Painten of Berkley and her son, Matthew W. Patchell of Canton. She was the sister of Louise Mallen of Stoughton. Mrs. Patchell was the daughter of Merlin Smith of Stoughton and the late Francis (Ferber) Smith and Robert Bowman. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jared, Hailey and Leeya Painten, her niece Jill Mallen and nephew James Mallen.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 10-11AM. Donations in Linda's memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, 02368.
