Linda (Malcolm) (Jean) McPherson

Linda J. (Malcolm) (Jean) McPherson, 67, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died peacefully at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater on Saturday, December 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Homer McPherson. Daughter of Mary I. (Barsell) Malcolm of Brockton and the late Barry S. Malcolm, she was born and raised in Brockton. Linda was a graduate of Brockton High School and Bridgewater State College. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and office manager for several area companies, including Horan Oil in Stoughton and Harding Print Company in Whitman. Linda was a member of the Rainbow Girls Club and the Eastern Star Club. In her free time Linda enjoyed bowling, traveling, shopping, watching movies, vacations in St. Maarten and spending time with her loving family.

Mrs. McPherson is survived by her son, Eric M. Jean of Brockton. She is also survived by her sister, Donna M. Malcolm of Bridgewater and her brother, Brian J. Malcolm and his wife Diane of New Hampshire. She was the stepmother of Michelle Norris and her husband Kenneth and Craig McPherson and his wife Cheryl all of Brockton. She was the grandmother of Lauren and Andrew McPherson. She is also survived by her goddaughter and niece, Angela Zatzos and her niece Whitney Malcolm and nephew Dylan Malcolm.

Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, December 17 from 10 AM - 1 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's name may be made to the ALS Association, 685 Canton Street, Suite 103, Norwood, MA 02062.
